Buying a Home in Prosper, TX: Costs, Schools and Neighborhoods
Quick take. Prosper is newer, quieter, and pricier than its neighbors, with bigger lots and a fast-growing school district. Prices have softened this year, so buyers have more room to negotiate than they did a couple of years ago. The surprise buyers miss is the tax rate, which is close to 2%, and some Prosper-address homes add a MUD on top.
